PointsBet Enters Kansas Market

PointsBet secured market access through a primary skin agreement with Kansas Crossing Casino, which operates the Casino and Hotel. When betting goes live here, this will mark PointsBet’s 11th state where its sportsbook is taking bets. The company has also launched in New Jersey, Iowa, Indiana, Illinois, Colorado, Michigan, West Virginia, Virginia, New York and Pennsylvania.

“We are excited to be launching on the starting line and having our outstanding sportsbook product available to the people of Kansas from day one”,  PointsBet Group CEO and Managing Director Sam Swanell said in a media release. “With NFL season kicking off on Sept. 9 the timing is perfect to showcase our NFL in-play betting capabilities in particular.”

Sports betting officially became legal in Kansas in May when Gov. Laura Kelly signed sports wagering legislation into law, allowing both retail and online betting to start with a soft launch on Sept. 1.

The full launch is expected to commence on Sept. 8, the same day as the start of the NFL regular season with the Los Angeles Rams hosting the Buffalo Bills.

PointsBet Welcome Promotion

Bettors can expect numerous welcome promotions from each of the new sportsbooks that go live in their state, and PointsBet is no different. No users who sign up with PointsBet Sportsbook are eligible to redeem $800 work of risk-free bets when the sportsbook goes live. PointsBet gives users four risk-free bets up to $200 each to use upon registering and signing up for its sportsbook.

PointsBet also allows all players to earn and redeem points for every bet they make. The more bets placed, the more points a user earns. Players can then redeem their points for free bets.
